Students

Opportunities for incoming and outgoing students to learn abroad, including studies at European Higher Education Institutions (Student Mobility for Studies / SMS) and traineeships at European organizations (Student Mobility for Placements / SMP)

1/ Deadline for Erasmus+ incoming  students:

Sending institutions nomination deadlines for Erasmus+ incoming students:

  • 1 semester: from 01/03 to 30/04
  • 2 semester: from 01/10 to 30/11

Application deadline for nominated Erasmus+ incoming students:

  • 1 semester: from 01/03 to 31/05
  • 2 semester: from 01/10 to 20/12

  • Languages of instruction: Spanish (B1) & Catalan (B1)
  • Numerus clausus (maximum capacity limits):  four students for Graphic Design, four students for Interior Design, two students for Fashion Design, two students for Product Design),  with a total amount of 12 Erasmus+ incoming students
  • Selection criteria: knowledge of language of instruction (50%); Currículum Vitae (20%); portfolio (20%); intentions, motivation, autonomy, connection with the educational field and study cycle proposed (10%)

Erasmus+ incoming students must be nominated by their Sending Institution.

According to digital IIA, it is only possible to nominate two (2) students per Sending Institution from different BA in Design specialities (Graphic, Interior, Fashion, Product).

In order to consider all sending institution nominations, mobility for the whole academic year is not accepted.

Finally, the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de les Illes Balears will neither accept “Blended Mobility with Short-term Physical Mobility” nor ”Short-term Doctoral Mobility”.

Opportunities for  incoming and outgoing staff to undertake professional development activities, including training (Staff Mobility for Training / STT) and  teaching (Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignment / STA)

1/ Deadline for Erasmus+ incoming  staff: No deadline

Available dates for mobility:

  • Incoming STA for teaching: October to April  (mobilities are NOT accepted in May, June, July & August)
  • Incoming STT for training: September to July (mobilities are NOT accepted in August)

2/ Deadline for Erasmus+ outgoing staff:  from 01/12 to 15/01
